We should mention about the upset which took place in Wolfenbuettel, where higher ranked SparkassenStars (10-11) lost to eleventh ranked Herzoege Wolfenbuettel (6-15) in a road game 68-85 on Saturday. Herzoege Wolfenbuettel made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. Herzoege Wolfenbuettel outrebounded SparkassenStars 40-23 including a 31-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Lars Lagerpusch (205-98) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds. Moritz Huebner (200-97) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds.
