We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when eleventh ranked Kayseri (6-13) smashed at home 10th ranked Canik Belediye (6-13) 106-81. Kayseri dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Canik Belediye's 52. Kayseri had a 34-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Odyssey Sims (175-92, college: Baylor, agency: Slash Sports) who led the winners and scored 33 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 7 assists. American-Nigerian Ify Ibekwe (187-89, college: Arizona) accounted for 26 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side. Coach 's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. American center Kai James (196-95, college: Florida St.) came up with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 16 rebounds and the other American import forward Sequoia Holmes (183-86, college: UNLV) added 19 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Canik Belediye in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Kayseri moved-up to tenth place, which they share with defeated Canik Belediye. Canik Belediye lost their fourth game in a row. Kayseri's next round opponent will be higher ranked Galatasaray (#6) in Istanbul and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
