Superleague top team - Dynamo-NPU (20-3) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat eighth ranked Vinnystkiye M. (4-17) in Vinnytsia 79-68. The game without a history. Dynamo-NPU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 23-of-28 charity shots (82.1 percent) during the game, while Vinnystkiye M. only scored seven points from the stripe. They outrebounded Vinnystkiye M. 53-36 including a 38-26 advantage in defensive rebounds. American guard Andreona Keys (178-95, college: Purdue) nailed a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 18 rebounds for the winning side and center Oksana Piantak (205-96, agency: LBM Management) accounted for 8 points and 10 rebounds. Keys is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Center Oksana Stepaniuk (195-95) came up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Viktoriya Ilchyshyna (167-91) added 16 points and 7 assists respectively for Vinnystkiye M. in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the twelfth consecutive win for Dynamo-NPU. They maintain first place with 20-3 record. Vinnystkiye M. lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the eighth position with 17 games lost. Dynamo-NPU will play against BK Rivne (#6) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Vinnystkiye M. will play again against the league's leader Dynamo-NPU in Kyiv and hopes to get back on the winning track.
