There was no surprise in Porto where 6th ranked Beira Mar (5-13) was crushed by second ranked Dragon Force (8-10) 88-69. Dragon Force had a 27-13 advantage in offensive rebounds. 24 personal fouls committed by Beira Mar helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The winners were led by Francisco Amarante (196-0) who scored that evening 17 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists and Cape Verdean center Kevin-Clay Gomes (208-95) supported him with 18 points and 8 rebounds. Five Dragon Force players scored in double figures.
