Leader Prometey delivered the twenty eighth victory. This time they crushed 8th ranked Dnipro-2 (6-20) 103-49. The game without a history. Prometey led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They held Dnipro-2 to an opponent 24.2 percent shooting from the field compared to 51.9 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Dnipro-2 54-33 including a 33-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Prometey players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Dnipro-2's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Martez Walker (193-95, college: Oakland) who helped to win the game recording 28 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Maks-Adam Konate (202-91) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 15 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Five Prometey players scored in double figures. Ihor Dubonenko (197-98) answered with 9 points and Yevhenii Sorochan (192-0) added 10 points in the effort for Dnipro-2. Dnipro-2's coach Bogdan Frikke gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Prometey (28-1) have an impressive series of twenty four victories in a row. Newly promoted Prometey maintains first place. Dnipro-2 lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 20 games lost. Prometey will play against league's second-placed KDPU in Kryvyi Rih in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Dnipro-2 will play on the road against Niko-Basket (#3) in Mykolaiv and hopes to get back on the winning track.
