Everything went according to plan when fourth ranked Stade (12-8) won against at home 15th ranked ALBA-2 (2-19) 82-72 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was swingman Janis Stielow (193-95) who scored 22 points and 6 rebounds. Spanish power forward Oscar Andres (200-87) chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds. Five Stade players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American-Bosnian Abdulah Kameric (190-0) who recorded 26 points (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) and guard Ben Lingk (200-1) added 9 points respectively. ALBA-2's coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. The victory was the third consecutive win for Stade. They maintain fourth place in North with 12-8 record. ALBA-2 lost their third game in a row. They keep the fifteenth position with 19 games lost. Stade will face league's leader Wolmirstedt on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. ALBA-2 will play against Neustadt TSV (#8) and hope to win that game.
