Everything went according to plan when sixth ranked Schwabing (11-8) outplayed at home 12th ranked Bad Aibling (6-14) 98-74 on Saturday. Schwabing shot 62.1 percent from the field. It was a very good performance for naturalized British point guard Justin Hedley (191-96) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. American power forward Nick Freer (198-85, college: Grand Valley St.) contributed with 27 points and 4 assists for the winners. Guard Simon Bradaric replied with 21 points and 8 rebounds and Johannes Wienet added 13 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Bad Aibling. Five Schwabing and four Bad Aibling players scored in double figures. Schwabing moved-up to fifth place in South-East. Bad Aibling lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the twelfth position with 14 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
