An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Jena. Leader Junior Loewen faced 4th placed Science City Jena. Guests from Breitenguessbach (12-0) defeated host Science City Jena (8-5) 91-80. Junior Loewen players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Nicholas Tischler (198-0) nailed a double-double by scoring 24 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists for the winning side and Moritz Plescher (195-0) accounted for 28 points and 6 rebounds. The victory was the eleventh consecutive win for Junior Loewen. They maintain first place in Group 3 with 12-0 record. Science City Jena at the other side keeps the fourth position with five games lost. Junior Loewen's next round opponent will be Sixers (#7) in Weissenfels which should be theoretically an easy game. Science City Jena will play at home against NINERS and hope to win that game.
