Second Stage Round 10: Vytis - Delikatesas 91-85

Leader Vytis delivered the twenty ninth victory. This time they beat 8th ranked Delikatesas (18-20) 91-85 in Sakiai. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Delikatesas. Delikatesas was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Paulius Beliavicius (196-88) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 6 assists. Center Aurelijus Pukelis (205-94) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. The former international power forward Sarunas Beniusis (206-93) replied with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and Karolis Lukosiunas (196-97) added 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Delikatesas. Four Vytis and five Delikatesas players scored in double figures. Delikatesas' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Vytis maintains first position with 29-8 record. Delikatesas at the other side keeps the eighth place with 20 games lost. Vytis will play against Silute (#7) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Delikatesas will play against Perlas in Vilnius and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
