There was no surprise when 12th ranked Jena II (6-14) lost on the road to seventh ranked Bamberg (11-9) 92-82 on Sunday. Bamberg shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 56.5 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a very good performance for point guard Kevin Jefferson (175-96) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists. Forward Daniel Eisenhardt (200-96) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Bamberg players scored in double figures. American Vincent Garrett (198-91, college: Green Bay) replied with 18 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and Serbian guard Vuk Radojicic (185-1) added 17 points in the effort for Jena II. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bamberg have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place in South-East, which they share with Herzogenaurach. Loser Jena II keeps the twelfth position with 14 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
