Bottom-ranked Vidabasket (0-2) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 88-86 loss to seventh ranked Champion 2006 (2-1) in Vidin on Sunday evening. They also forced 27 Vidabasket turnovers. It was a great evening for guard Allen Kurshumov (187-1) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Nikolay Petkov (190-1) helped adding 15 points and 9 rebounds. At the losing side forward Julian Kolev (194-80) responded with 23 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and point guard Martin Mandalski (181-99) scored 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Champion 2006 and five Vidabasket players scored in double figures. Champion 2006 moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Rilski 2. Loser Vidabasket still closes the standings with two games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
