An interesting game for Bakken (20-1) which hosted in Risskov their close opponent BMS Skovlunde (7-12). First ranked Bakken had an easy win 111-72. The game without a history. Bakken led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to BMS Skovlunde's 36. Bakken forced 20 BMS Skovlunde turnovers and outrebounded them 47-26 including a 25-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by BMS Skovlunde's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Bakken made 7 blocks. American guard Tobin Carberry (193-91, college: LIU Post, agency: HMS) nailed 15 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side and forward Sylvester Berg (201-98) accounted for 8 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists. Carberry is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Bakken players scored in double figures. American point guard Austin Waddoups (188-93, college: Salt Lake CC, agency: Dynamics Global Management) came up with 25 points and Swedish center William Asplund (205-93, college: Menlo) added 10 points and 7 rebounds respectively for BMS Skovlunde in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Bakken have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 20-1 record which they share with defeated BMS Skovlunde. Loser BMS Skovlunde still keeps top position with 12 games lost. Bakken will meet league's second-placed Horsens IC on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. BMS Skovlunde will play against the league's second-placed EBAA and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
