The game had a very big importance for second-ranked RSV Eintracht as it allowed them to take a leadership position in North. RSV Eintracht defeated 15th ranked ALBA-2 in Stahnsdorf 91-77. They outrebounded ALBA-2 37-25 including 25 on the defensive glass. RSV Eintracht looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by ALBA-2's players. Swingman Sebastian Fuelle (193-92) orchestrated the victory by scoring 16 points and 7 rebounds. Lithuanian point guard Karolis Babkauskas (185-91, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 assists for the winners. Five RSV Eintracht players scored in double figures. Guard Ben Lingk (200-1) answered with 14 points and 5 rebounds and L Sabally added 16 points in the effort for ALBA-2. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. RSV Eintracht (17-4) have an impressive series of six victories in a row. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. ALBA-2 at the other side keeps the fifteenth place with 20 games lost. ALBA-2 will play next round against Vechta-2 trying to get back on the winning streak. RSV Eintracht will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked Wolmirstedt on the road.
