Regular Season Round 22: Khimik - Dnipro 75-76

The most crucial game of the last round was another loss of Khimik (18-8) in Yuzhny on Saturday night. Hosts were edged by Dnipro (18-8) 76-75. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Khimik won fourth quarter 19-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Kyrylo Fesenko (216-86) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 9 rebounds. Dnipro have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with defeated Khimik. Dnipro is looking forward to face bottom-ranked Cherkasy (#8) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Khimik will play against Zaporizhye (#3) in Zaporozhye and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
