Anagennises toppled Aris to sweep the quarterfinal series. The game without a history. Anagennises led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Aris to just 5 points in fourth quarter and to 13 points in second half. Anagennises forced 25 Aris turnovers and had a 20-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. American guard Maranne Johnson (170-96, college: Sacramento St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals. Forward Theodora Xenofontos (177-2) contributed with 9 points and 13 rebounds for the winners. The former international Elena Antoniou (170-89) replied with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals and center Daria Evdokimova (185-86) added 15 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Aris. Aris' coach Pantelis Konstantinou rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
