Second Stage Round 13: Telsiai - Vytis 100-82

Top ranked Vytis (30-10) recorded its tenth loss in Telsiu on Thursday night. Visitors were defeated by fourth ranked Telsiai (24-16) 100-82. Deividas Rasys (197-97) fired a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Forward Ovidijus Kaminskis (195-91) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds. Four Telsiai players scored in double figures. Telsiai's coach Povilas Sakinis used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international guard Sarunas Vingelis (196-89) produced 24 points (perfect behind the arc making all six shots !!!) and center Aurelijus Pukelis (205-94) added 8 points and 12 rebounds respectively for lost side. Telsiai have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain fourth place with 24-16 record. Vytis at the other side still keeps top position with ten games lost. Telsiai are looking forward to face league's second-placed Suduva-Mantinga in Marijampole in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Vytis will play at home against Palanga and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
