Important game to mention about took place in Skovlunde. Second ranked EBAA (7-13) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging top-ranked BMS Skovlunde (7-13) 72-70 in the game for the first place. It was a key game for the top position in the league. BMS Skovlunde was ahead by 14 points after three quarters before a 27-11 charge of EBAA, which allowed them to win the game. American center Keane Thomann (211-89, college: Missouri So.) notched a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds to lead the effort and international forward David Kristensen (210-98) supported him with 22 points. EBAA's coach Mads Sigersted allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Even a double-double of 10 points and 12 rebounds by American center Deionte Simmons (205-96, college: Chicago St.) did not help to save the game for BMS Skovlunde. His fellow American import point guard Austin Waddoups (188-93, college: Salt Lake CC, agency: Dynamics Global Management) added 14 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. Four BMS Skovlunde players scored in double figures. EBAA keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Wolfpack/BMS. BMS Skovlunde lost third consecutive game. EBAA will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. BMS Skovlunde will play on the road against Stevnsgade and hopes to get back on the winning track.
