There was a small surprise when thirteenth ranked Taurages (16-23) defeated at home 10th ranked Zalgiris II (19-21) 75-61 on Friday. Taurages made 18-of-20 free shots (90.0 percent) during the game. Taurages had a 30-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. Forward Paulius Morkeliunas (201-85, college: LIU Brooklyn, agency: Octagon Europe) fired a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds for the winners.
