Rather expected game in Angra Heroismo where 12th ranked Imortal (3-18) was defeated by ninth ranked Terceira (9-12) 100-89 on Friday. Terceira shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 56.5 percentage. American guard Derreck Brooks (198-94, college: Cent.Arkansas) stepped up and scored 43 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds for the winners and British swingman Skyler White (203-93, college: Point Loma) chipped in 18 points and 13 rebounds. White is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. The best for the losing side was American guard Quentin Snider (188-95, college: Louisville) with 24 points and 6 assists and Cape Verdean point guard Shane DaRosa (183-88, college: Bristol CC) scored 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field).
