Second Stage Round 14: Silute - Perlas 107-104

The most exciting game of round 14 in the NKL took place in Silute. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 5th ranked Perlas (21-20) to seventh ranked Silute (20-19) 107-104 on Saturday evening. Silute forced 23 Perlas turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. Silute looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Swingman Evaldas Dziaugys (196-96) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Andrius Gaidys (180-94) contributed with 17 points and 7 assists for the winners. Five Silute players scored in double figures. Silute's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Forward Simas Jarumbauskas (197-0, agency: Octagon Europe) replied with 39 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 4 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and forward Azuolas Tubelis (202-2) added 22 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Perlas. Silute moved-up to sixth place. Perlas at the other side keeps the fifth position with 20 games lost.
