Rather predictable result in Hanau where eleventh ranked Kirchheim Knights (13-14) defeated 15th ranked White Wings (7-20) 67-58 on Saturday. Kirchheim Knights forced 19 White Wings turnovers. It was a great evening for American guard Rohndell Goodwin (195-91, college: Chaminade) who led his team to a victory scoring 14 points and 7 rebounds. Swingman Phillip Daubner (204-94) helped adding 16 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Kirchheim Knights' coach Mauricio Parra used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. The best for the losing side was American Luquon Choice (190-93, college: Lincoln Memorial) with 18 points and 6 rebounds and the other American import point guard Jordon Talley (185-95, college: NC-Wilmington) scored 18 points and 4 assists. Kirchheim Knights moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Walter Tigers. White Wings lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth position with 20 games lost. Kirchheim Knights will face higher ranked Phoenix Hagen (#9) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. White Wings will play against the league's second-placed Hamburg (#2) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
