Regular Season Round 27: Karlsruhe PS - Baunach 80-61

Ninth ranked Lions (14-13) crushed at home 16th ranked Baunach (5-23) by 19 points 80-61, which is the biggest margin this round on Saturday night. Lions forced 21 Baunach turnovers and outrebounded them 33-22 including 19 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a quality performance of American forward Orlando Parker (203-91, college: Wagner) who helped to win the game recording 33 points (!!!) (on 14-of-17 shooting from the field). His fellow American import guard Davonte Lacy (193-93, college: Washington St.) helped adding 17 points and 5 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Czech center Adam Pechacek (207-95) with 25 points and 7 rebounds and Estonian point guard Kristian Kullamaee (190-99, agency: Dynamics Global Management) scored 15 points and 7 assists. Baunach's coach Felix Czerny rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Lions moved-up to eighth place. Baunach lost tenth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 23 lost games. Lions will face Walter Tigers (#11) in Tuebingen in the next round. Baunach will play at home against Artland Dragons (#12) and hope to win that game.
