Very expected game when 7th ranked Young Tigers (3-10) were smashed by third ranked Ludwigsburg BBA (10-2) in Tuenbingen 92-67 on Saturday. Ludwigsburg BBA forced 26 Young Tigers turnovers. Quite impressive performance for naturalized Togolese center Ariel Hukporti (211-2) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds. Guard Lukas Herzog (188-1) contributed with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Center Quentin Kunst (198-0) answered with 11 points and 9 rebounds and Nigerian Harrison-Ole Nnana (200-1) added 11 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Young Tigers. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Ludwigsburg BBA. They maintain third place in Group 4 with 10-2 record having five points less than leader ALBA Berlin. Loser Young Tigers keep the seventh position with ten games lost. Ludwigsburg BBA will face Jahn Muenchen (#8) at home in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game.
