A very close game took place in Diedorf between Topstar and TSV Troester. Second ranked Topstar (15-6) got a very close home victory over one of their biggest challengers TSV Troester (14-7). Topstar managed to escape with a 2-point win 69-67 in the fight for the second place. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of TSV Troester. The best player for the winners was American point guard CJ Carr (173-95, college: Missouri So.) who scored 26 points and 4 steals. Bernhard Benke (206-97) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds. Topstar will meet Muenchen OSB (#8) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. TSV Troester will play against Bad Aibling (#13) and hope to secure a win.
