Everything went according to plan when fifth ranked Rendsburg (13-10) beat on the road 13th ranked Aschersleben (8-14) 79-72 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Pierce Cumpstone (203-94, college: Stonehill) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds and Australian swingman Julian Pesava (193-95, college: Wayland Baptist) who added 13 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American point guard Kendal Williams (183-92, college: Delaware St.) with 20 points and 7 assists and power forward Sebastian Harke (204-81) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Rendsburg maintains fifth position in North with 13-10 record.
