Regular Season Round 24: Kronberg - Langen 87-68

Date: March 9, 2019
There was a surprise result when thirteenth ranked Kronberg (8-14) outleveled at home higher ranked TV Langen (11-11) 87-68 on Saturday. Kronberg looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. TV Langen was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of Noah Litzbach (196-0) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 8 rebounds and Daniel Medo (197-95) who added 12 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Five Kronberg players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American forward Christopher Edward (201, college: Concordia, OR) with 23 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Maxim Schneider (184-92) scored 8 points and 5 rebounds. TV Langen's coach tested ten players seeing no chance for a win. Kronberg moved-up to tenth place in South-West, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser TV Langen keeps the fifth position with 11 games lost. Kronberg will face higher ranked Stuttgart (#7) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. TV Langen will play against the league's second-placed Koblenz where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
