The winners were led by Serbian center Ivana Brajkovic (196-93) who scored that evening 17 points and 5 rebounds and American forward Vee Young (186-89, college: Martin Methodist) supported her with 12 points and 7 rebounds. Young is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Hannover's coach Rodger Battersby used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest.
