The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Akademik Sofia (5-2) on the court of third ranked Athletic Sofia on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by Athletic Sofia 83-76. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Akademik Sofia. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league.
