The game in Istanbul was also quite interesting. Fourth ranked TAC NEF (10-12) played at the court of 5th ranked Besiktas (11-12). TAC NEF managed to secure a 5-point victory 74-69 on Sunday. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Besiktas. The best player for the winners was Murat Guzelocak (-1) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points, 14 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 blocks. Faik Kasikci (-0) chipped in 10 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. Four TAC NEF players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Ege Sun (-0) who recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points and 15 rebounds and Bilgehan Diril (-1) added 15 points respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. TAC NEF moved-up to third place, which they share with Tofas. Loser Besiktas keeps the fifth position with 12 games lost. TAC NEF will face league's leader Banvit at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Besiktas' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Istanbul Fenerbahce.
