Regular Season Round 24: Domzale - Triglav 33-97

Bottom-ranked Domzale (0-24) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 97-33 loss to second ranked Triglav (19-3) in Domzale. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. The game without a history. Triglav led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Domzale to just 4 points in fourth quarter. Triglav held Domzale to an opponent 23.1 percent shooting from the field compared to 52.2 percent accuracy of the winners and made 16-of-19 charity shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Triglav forced 32 Domzale turnovers and outrebounded them 42-26 including 16 on the offensive glass. Triglav maintains second position with 19-3 record having just three points less than leader Celje. Domzale at the other side still closes the standings. Triglav will play against Grosbasket (#7) in Grosuplje in the next round where they are favorite. Domzale will play on the road against Jezica in Ljubljana and hopes to get finally their first victory.
