No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Rendsburg (14-10) defeated at home 10th ranked Langenhagen (10-14) 99-83 on Saturday. Rendsburg forced 22 Langenhagen turnovers and outrebounded them 44-33 including a 20-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. Langenhagen was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Australian swingman Julian Pesava (193-95, college: Wayland Baptist) fired 26 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. American forward Pierce Cumpstone (203-94, college: Stonehill) chipped in a double-double by scoring 19 points and 18 rebounds. Four Rendsburg players scored in double figures.
