Everything went according to plan when eleventh ranked BBC Bayreuth (12-11) beat on the road 16th ranked Science City Jena (5-19) 96-89 on Saturday. BBC Bayreuth made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was Canadian guard Kassius Robertson (191-94, college: Missouri) who scored 39 points (!!!) and 5 assists. American point guard Kyan Anderson (180-92, college: TCU, agency: Two Points) chipped in 8 points and 8 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Dru Joyce (185-85, college: Akron) who recorded 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and Dominican-American forward Ronald Roberts (203-91, college: St.Joseph's, agency: Pensack Sports) added 22 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
