We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when one of their biggest challengers ratiopharm Ulm (7-6) was defeated at home by fifth ranked Allgau/Memmingen (5-9) 89-82 on Saturday. Allgau/Memmingen outrebounded ratiopharm Ulm 43-27 including 32 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Konrad Stark (192-2) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and Serbian center Lazar Scekic (211-1) who added 14 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Allgau/Memmingen's coach Chris Ensminger let to play all 12 players saving starting five for next games. Forward Latrell Grosskopf (198-1) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and Hungarian forward Adam Krasovec (204-1) scored 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists.
