It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Besiktas. Nigerian center Tonye Jekiri (213-94, college: Miami, FL) nailed a double-double by scoring 13 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and American Shaquielle McKissic (196-90, college: Arizona St.) accounted for 20 points and 4 steals. Four Gaziantep players scored in double figures. Croatian power forward Ivan Buva (208-91) came up with 14 points and 8 rebounds and American swingman Kyle Gibson (196-87, college: Louisiana Tech) added 9 points and 5 assists respectively for Besiktas in the defeat. Besiktas' coach Dusko Ivanovic rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Gaziantep. They maintain fourth place with 13-7 record. Besiktas at the other side keeps the sixth position with nine games lost. They share it with Turk Telekom. Gaziantep will meet at home league's leader Anadolu Efes in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
