Superleague top team - Dynamo-NPU (24-3) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixth ranked Interkhim (11-13) in Odessa 88-58. The game without a history. Dynamo-NPU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Interkhim's 22 and made 16-of-20 charity shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Dynamo-NPU forced 32 Interkhim turnovers. Strangely Interkhim outrebounded Dynamo-NPU 49-29 including a 22-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. The winners were led by American guard Ashley Morrissette (175-95, college: Purdue) who scored that evening 25 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 9 steals and the other American import guard Andreona Keys (178-95, college: Purdue) supported her with 20 points, 6 assists and 4 steals. Keys is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Dynamo-NPU players scored in double figures. Dynamo-NPU's coach felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds by center Diana Bondaryuk (197-85) did not help to save the game for Interkhim. Swingman Svitlana Kolibabchuk (189-87) added 14 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for lost side. Dynamo-NPU have an impressive 16-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 24-3 record. Interkhim lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 13 games lost. Dynamo-NPU will play against Frankivsk (#3) in Ivano-Frankivsk in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Interkhim will play on the road against Chaika in Berdiansk and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
