There was a surprise result when thirteenth ranked Kronberg (9-14) beat on the road higher ranked Stuttgart (9-14) 90-76 on Sunday. Noah Litzbach (196-0) fired a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Felix Hecker (192-98) chipped in 23 points and 6 assists. American power forward Nick Mosley (203-88, college: Tarleton St.) produced a double-double by scoring 25 points and 14 rebounds and point guard Fekremariam Abraha (186-99) added 11 points respectively for lost side. Stuttgart's coach Torsten Boeringer rotated twelve players and allowed the starting five to rest. Kronberg moved-up to seventh place in South-West, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Stuttgart. Kronberg will face higher ranked Saarlouis/Dillingen (#4) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
