There was no surprise when 18th ranked Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (4-21) was defeated on the road by fifteenth ranked Crailsheim Merlins (6-18) 86-80 on Wednesday. Crailsheim Merlins made 27-of-34 free shots (79.4 percent) during the game. Crailsheim Merlins outrebounded Eisbaeren Bremerhaven 40-22 including a 17-4 advantage in offensive rebounds.
