Guard Brandon Young (193-91, college: DePaul) replied with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 assists and forward Chris Cokley (203-96, college: UAB, agency: Interperformances) added 20 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists in the effort for Cherkasy. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Cherkasy's coach Maksym Mikhelson rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Politekhnik maintains eighth position with 8-19 record. Defending champion Cherkasy keeps the seventh place with 18 games lost. Politekhnik will play against higher ranked Kyiv Basket (#4) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Cherkasy will play against Dnipro and hopes to get back on the winning track.
