Second Stage Round 3: Horsholm - SISU 65-54

An exciting game was played in Horsholm. Horsholm faced SISU. Host Horsholm (4-0) defeated guests from Copenhagen (1-3) 65-54. The game was mostly controlled by Horsholm. SISU was better in third quarter 18-8. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for Canadian forward Meg Wilson (188-94, college: Simon Fraser) who led her team to a victory with 12 points and 9 rebounds. International forward Gritt Ryder (173-92, college: Colorado St.) contributed with 8 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Canadian guard Nofuente Ceejay (176-93, college: Humber) answered with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists and American guard Chelsea Jennings (175-94, college: Texas A&M) added 15 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for SISU. SISU's coach Todd Anthony rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Horsholm will play against Stevnsgade on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. SISU will play against Lemvig and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
