Regular Season Round 24: Final Spor - Yeni Mamak 90-86

We should mention about the upset which took place in Bursa, where 9th ranked Yeni Mamak (12-12) lost to twelfth ranked Final Spor (9-15) in a road game 86-90 on Saturday. Final Spor dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Yeni Mamak's 38. Worth to mention a great performance of American LaceDarius Dunn (193-87, college: Baylor) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and 8 rebounds and forward Umar Atin (199-94) who added 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was Reginald Becton with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and Erkan Yilmaz (198-86) scored 16 points and 4 assists. Five Final Spor and four Yeni Mamak players scored in double figures. Newly promoted Final Spor maintains twelfth position with 9-15 record. Yeni Mamak at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the tenth place with 12 games lost. Final Spor will meet Yalova Bld (#14) on the road in the next round. Yeni Mamak will play against Artvin Bld (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
