No shocking result in a game in Panevezys where fourth ranked Lietkabelis (16-10) defeated 8th ranked Dzukija (8-17) 85-78. It looked good early as Dzukija took a 7-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Lietkabelis had a 27-16 second period charge getting the lead and Dzukija was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 78-85. Lietkabelis made 17-of-18 charity shots (94.4 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. American-Finnish point guard Jamar Wilson (185-84, college: Albany) orchestrated the victory by scoring 16 points. Serbian guard Stefan Sinovec (195-88, agency: BeoBasket) contributed with 12 points and 6 assists for the winners. Lietkabelis' coach Nenad Canak allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Forward Paulius Petrilevicius (200-91, agency: Octagon Europe) replied with 19 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) and the former international power forward Egidijus Dimsa (205-85) added 10 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Dzukija.
