Regular Season Round 26: Koblenz - Stuttgart 91-81

Everything went according to plan when second ranked Koblenz (22-2) won against at home 10th ranked Stuttgart (9-15) 91-81 on Saturday. Koblenz looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was Serbian forward Milan Trtic (201-86, agency: HMS) who scored 23 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Henning Schaake (201-95) chipped in 20 points. Four Koblenz players scored in double figures. Koblenz's coach Josip Bosnjak used an eleven-player rotation saving starting five for next games. American power forward Nick Mosley (203-88, college: Tarleton St.) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and guard Marco Schlafke (187-82) added 25 points (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) respectively for the guests. Koblenz have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain second position in South-West with 22-2 record having just one victory less than leader Duesseldorf. Stuttgart lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth place with 15 games lost. Koblenz will face Saarlouis/Dillingen (#4) on the road in the next round. Stuttgart will play against Mannheim (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
