Everything went according to plan when second ranked Koblenz (22-2) won against at home 10th ranked Stuttgart (9-15) 91-81 on Saturday. Koblenz looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was Serbian forward Milan Trtic (201-86, agency: HMS) who scored 23 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Henning Schaake (201-95) chipped in 20 points. Four Koblenz players scored in double figures. Koblenz's coach Josip Bosnjak used an eleven-player rotation saving starting five for next games.
