The game between Top Four teams took place in Oradea. 3rd placed host Oradea (11-11) was smashed by first ranked Rapid Bucuresti (14-8) 61-42. The game was mostly controlled by Rapid Bucuresti. Oradea managed to win fourth quarter 12-4. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Oradea to just 7 points in first quarter. Rapid Bucuresti forced 27 Oradea turnovers. Guard Gabriela Vlad (178-88) fired 11 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. The former international guard Florina Stanici (170-82) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. Center Anisia Croitoru (182-3) produced 8 points and 10 rebounds and center Nicolett Orban (190-0) added 10 points and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Rapid Bucuresti. Newly promoted Rapid Bucuresti maintains first place with 14-8 record, which they share with Targu Mures. Oradea lost their sixth game in a row. Oradea at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the third position with 11 games lost.
