Dynamo Kursk crushed Sparta to advance into the semifinal stage. Dynamo Kursk dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Spartak Vidnoye's 28. They outrebounded Spartak Vidnoye 43-20 including a 32-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Dynamo Kursk players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Spartak Vidnoye's players. American center Natasha Howard (190-91, college: Florida St., agency: LBM Management) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 13 rebounds. Dynamo Kursk's coach Lucas Mondelo felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
