Important game to mention about took place in Ankara. Sixth ranked Turk Telekom (9-16) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 3rd placed Darussafaka (20-6) 70-67 on Wednesday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Darussafaka. Strangely Darussafaka outrebounded Turk Telekom 46-32 including 32 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for Yigit Ozkan (-1) who led his team to a victory with 17 points and 4 assists. Zahid Isaoglu (-0) contributed with 16 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Turk Telekom's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Forward Engin Kalkan (203-0) answered with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 20 rebounds and 8 assists and forward Cagdas Atbas (200-0) added 18 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Darussafaka. Turk Telekom moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Gelisim Koleji. Darussafaka at the other side keeps the third position with six games lost. Turk Telekom will play against Besiktas (#5) in Istanbul in the next round. Darussafaka's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Istanbul Anadolu Efes.
