No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Stade (16-10) beat at home 9th ranked Bergedorf (12-14) 72-66 on Friday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Bergedorf was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for swingman Janis Stielow (193-95) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds. Spanish power forward Oscar Andres (200-87) contributed with 19 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Center Yngve Jentz (207-97) answered with 19 points and 8 rebounds and forward Joscha Kolnisko (200-90) added 11 points in the effort for Bergedorf. Bergedorf's coach Bjoern Fock rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Stade moved-up to fourth place in North. Bergedorf lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the eighth position with 14 games lost. Stade will face WSG Koenigs (#7) in Wildau in the next round. Bergedorf will play at home against Neustadt TSV and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
