Superleague top team - Dynamo-NPU (27-3) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed ninth ranked Kozachka-KPU (4-27) in Zaporozhye 100-37. The game without a history. Dynamo-NPU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Kozachka-KPU to just 6 points in second quarter and to 14 points in first half. Dynamo-NPU dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Kozachka-KPU's 28. Dynamo-NPU forced 20 Kozachka-KPU turnovers and outrebounded them 48-29 including a 35-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Dynamo-NPU especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Kozachka-KPU's players. American guard Ashley Morrissette (175-95, college: Purdue) notched 18 points and 6 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and Nataliia Tsiubyk (178-98) supported her with 21 points. Five Dynamo-NPU players scored in double figures. Dynamo-NPU's coach felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 10 points and 5 rebounds by point guard Viktoriya Kovalevska (170-99) did not help to save the game for Kozachka-KPU. Forward Daria Shtura (176-94) added 13 points and 5 rebounds. Dynamo-NPU have an impressive 19-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 27-3 record. Kozachka-KPU lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay dead last with 27 lost games.
