The game between closely ranked teams ended with 9th ranked Siauliai's (5-22) home loss to eighth ranked Dzukija (9-17) 97-110 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Dzukija. Power forward Arminas Urbutis (206-86, college: Hofstra, agency: Octagon Europe) came up with 24 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and American guard Seth Allen (185-94, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Slash Sports) added 18 points respectively for Siauliai in the defeat. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Dzukija moved-up to seventh place. Siauliai lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with 22 games lost. Dzukija will meet league's second-placed Rytas in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Siauliai will play against the league's leader Zalgiris (#1) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
