The game had a very big importance for second-ranked RSV Eintracht as it allowed them to take a leadership position in North. RSV Eintracht smashed 14th ranked Westerstede in Stahnsdorf 103-41. RSV Eintracht dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Westerstede's 24. They outrebounded Westerstede 59-22 including a 18-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. RSV Eintracht looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Westerstede's players. It was a good game for American forward Matthew Dogan (201-94, college: Gannon) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Swingman Sebastian Fuelle (193-92) contributed with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. RSV Eintracht's coach Denis Toroman felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Croatian-Bosnian power forward Sandro Antunovic (207-98) answered with 15 points and 8 rebounds and forward Maximilian Schneider (198-84) added 15 points and 4 assists in the effort for Westerstede. RSV Eintracht (21-4) have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Westerstede lost thirteenth consecutive game. They keep the fourteenth place with 20 games lost. Westerstede will play next round against Vechta-2 trying to get back on the winning streak. RSV Eintracht will try to continue on its current victory against second ranked Goetting.ASC in Goettingen.
