UMMC eased past MBA to march to the second straight win. UMMC Ekaterinburg dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to MBA's 30 and made 21-of-25 charity shots (84.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded MBA 43-17 including a 38-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for UMMC Ekaterinburg especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 66.7 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 31 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by MBA's players. MBA was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. International center Maria Vadeeva (193-98) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. International power forward Raisa Musina (191-98) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Five UMMC Ekaterinburg players scored in double figures. The former international point guard Karina Nizamova (170-92) replied with 12 points and the former international center Anastasia Logunova (192-90, agency: LBM Management) added 8 points in the effort for MBA. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
